  • Highlights:

  • NO SCHOOL Friday or next Monday!
  • Traveling Mary visited our room for many days. We entered our thoughts in the journal.We prayed the rosary. How fortunate are we!
  • Next Written prayer testing on May 30- "Hail Holy Queen"- Fill in the Blank

  • Disciple of the Month: Charlie Strzelecki was honored as Disciple of the Month for the virtue of leadership. Thank you, Charlie, for truly looking out for your crew, As a leader, your actions and concern for the well-being of all are commendable.

  • Continue Dear Levi novel this week. Literature groups in action.

  • Mrs. Weller did a great job with Embryology! Be sure to thank her for her patience and her orthopedic expertise. One little chick had early intervention.
  • Congratulations to Nick Guava, who went on to the Diocesan Spelling Bee!
  • Social Studies projects were a hit! We all learned more about the Iroquois Nation and living in cooperation and peace. Way to go students who took part.

Reading: - identifying sequence, understanding timelines

Math- Measurements -test on Metric, Temperature, Time, Elapsed Time

Religion- written prayer testing May 30- Hail Holy Queen

Spelling- lesson 35- Easily confused words with similar pronunciations

Handwriting -Alphamation series for proper cursive practice- Yy, Zz

Social Studies-completed projects and vocab quiz - make-ups

Grammar/Writing: Mrs. Weller- Letter Writing with Mrs. Borosky

Reading - continue weekly leveled readers for skill building and vocab- groupwork-
